Quicken Loans is different from most other lenders since they are not a big commercial bank but mostly a mortgage loan company.  Their website is very helpful with many interesting tips and blog articles for agent and homeowners.  One in particular that I like, is the "Should I short sell my home? Truth and myths about short sales".  I am currently working on a short sale in West Hills with a Quicken Loan first mortgage and they were very fast at getting the appraisal done once I submitted the complete short sale package.

 

For homeowners considering selling your home, with our without equity, you will need to work with a licensed REALTOR® like myself to ensure the highest level of service and best results.  As a former Citibank personal banker, I am very familiar with navigating through the bank systems.  In terms of doing short sales, Quicken Loans is much easier to work with than most lenders.  They are very responsive, organized and pro-active during the process.  Their processing times tend to be a little faster than normal because they are more efficient making fewer mistakes and fewer delays.  I used to work with Citibank in the Granada Hills branch as a retail banker, giving me valuable experience.  Those were some good times being able to receive this prestigious Top Performer CitiStars 2004 Award, which included an amazing trip to Fajardo, Puerto Rico.
